Today we accomplished one of many “firsts” on this trip! It is not common in the Honduran church to go out and do things things in the community, for the community. We have been encouraging them to do so and recently they accepted the challenge and starting painting one of the longest bridges in South America!

They started and ran out of paint. They asked if we would join them and we were excited to help! We were also joined by the bombaros (firefighters) and the police!! It was a huge event and we were interviewed by 4 news media outlets!
It was a long day and it was super hot, then super windy, then rainy and then hot again! We thought we’d finish a portion of one side of the bridge, but God gave this team incredible endurance today!! We painted 3/4 of the ENTIRE bridge!! It was incredible!

And if 7 hours of painting in the direct sun wasn’t enough for one day, we hosted our second vacation Bible adventure today in Saba.
We ended our evening with the famous Snacks Michelle! We absolutely love their Jalapeño Chicken!! They have been renovating their space and this year we ate in their rooftop dining area!! It’s absolutely beautiful and the food is always amazing!
God is so good!! Tomorrow we head to Nueva La Confienza and there just may be concrete involved! Pray for us!!
