Our sabbath day

On the 6th day, we rested. We had a fantastic time today enjoying each other and relaxing in and around the ocean and the pool at a hotel in Tela. It was a much needed rest period as the last several days have been extraneous. We enjoyed a lot of laughs, a few jokes and a pretty mean game of water volleyball.
We found two unique friends at the hotel. The second friend is a large jellyfish and well this one didn’t get us, but another one did. We now know how to treat a jellyfish sting in a 3rd world country. Who knew?!
But, before heading to the beach this morning, the La Ceiba bombaros asked us to stop in this morning. It was to our surprise that they not only had gifts for those who have been heavily involved in the firetruck, but they also had the media and members from the mayor’s office there to interview the group about the jaws of life we brought down with us for them!
Speaking of the media, we’ve been on the news serval times now with the firetruck and the bridge earlier this week and multiple times this week we’ve been asked what we are doing here (imagine 30 gringos walking into anywhere) and when we ask if they saw those newcasts and they realize it was us, their eyes just light up and their entire dameanor softens. God is doing ANAZING things through us and although the media interviews can be uncomfortable at times, we continue to see how God is using it for His glory!! God is so good!!
